Blink 182 Unveils Summer Tour, Final Album Release Date

Blink-182 has just announced a U.S. tour with My Chemical Romance and bands such as Manchester Orchestra, Rancid, and Against Me! – set to kick off August 5th in Holmdel, New Jersey. The announcement was made at the Rainbow Bar & Grill in West Hollywood, and is the most definitive tour and album news to come from the band since their last Summer tour in 2009. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Travis Barker stated that he was looking forward to playing new music and that ”It’s the first time there will be new music in nine years.”

As far as the new (still untitled) album is concerned, Blink-182 will be working hard until virtually the moment they head out to tour. Mark Hoppus gives a definitive date by saying “We have until July 31st to hand the record in, and I think we’ll use every single day until then, as always.” The band is still writing new material even now, and is excited to experiment with new material now that may eventually make it onto the finished album. Below you will find a tentative list of tour dates, but I suggest checking ww.blink182.com for updates or changes in the current schedule.
