If you’ve never listened to the Modern Rock band Sent By Ravens there’s no time like the present to start. After their debut hit album Our Graceful Words Sent By Ravens became one of the biggest names in Christian Rock Music, almost overnight. Now they’re back with their second full length album Mean What You Say. The album was produced by Rob Hawkins (Disciple, Fireflight) and mixed by Ainslie Grosser.

At first listen one finds a more honed and refined sound, though at times there are flashes of the bands raw roots heard on Our Graceful Words. Sent By Ravens shows they’re not afraid to experiment with different sounds as well styles, throwing in the occasional Ballad or power rocker. For fans who like the high soaring guitar lines from their first project they still manage to incorporate them into Mean What You Say!

Is this album worthy of pre-order? I definatly think it’s going to be one of the best albums of the year. I promise fans won’t be disappointed when they finally get it in the mail.
