My Chemical Romance Joins The Bamboozle Festival Saturday Lineup
May 10th, 2012 | Stephen Vicino
The 2012 Bamboozle Festival is a little over a week away, and Saturday’s headliner, Blink-182, has pulled out of its performance. My Chemical Romance is set to replace the band.
“Blink-182 will be greatly missed, and all of us at the Bamboozle extend our thoughts and best wishes to Travis for a speedy recovery,” the website said. “However, we are pleased to announce My Chemical Romance who will perform before the Foo Fighters on the Main Stage on Saturday, May 19.”
Bamboozle’s head honchos are quick with the replacement: My Chemical Romance’s picture already replaces Blink-182′s.
My Chemical Romance are New Jersey locals, and they are currently in studio working on their fifth album. The band is well known for their songs, “I’m Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “Welcome to the Black Parade.”
