Early Thoughts:

If you’re familiar with the band on the Tooth ‘N’ Nail Roaster then you know they are best known for the screaming sounds of Emery, the hard rock of Thousand Foot Krutch and the quick pop of Capital Lights. In fact on a level with such heavy and outspoken bands you might be surprised contemporary rock band Hyland. Yet amongst the hard rock the band sits one studio record and one more on the way in Finding Our Way.

Musically this album follows much of the same contemporary themes found on Weights and Measures but with more of a worship feel. The strong point of this album seems to be the lyrics as Hyland focuses on life without God and on His faithfulness to us when we pursue other things. Finding Our Way may be worth the pre-order, we’ll just have to wait and see.
