It’s been almost 7 years since The Orange County Supertones released a completely original album. In fact fans had given up all hope of the band returning with their unique brand of ska and punk rock mix. SO when they announced their return with For the Glory it quickly became to most anticipated album of 2012 by long time fans of the band.
Upon the first listen it seems that The O.C. Supertones have returned still at the top of their game. Back are some of the beats and stylistic samplings that made the band famous. But with that comes a lot of new lyrical forms and variations. If the band has left anything on the table it has yet to be seen. Yes this is certainly an album that I would recommend pre-ordering whether you are a new fan or an old fan.
