Early Thoughts

There once was a time when Third Day released a new album every year, they did this for about 15 years before taking a break in 2011 to spend time with their families and to relax from the stress of a busy touring schedule. Plus after the success of Move fans could wait a little longer for the next studio album. Well the wait wasn’t too long as the band returns with the unique and different rock album Miracle.

At first listen it would seem that the Southern Rock Third Day has forgotten their roots. This album feels a lot like a rock album. Don’t worry though there is still evidence of the bands southern roots. Songs like “Love is like a River” and “Take Me Back” defiantly fall into that category. But there is also something different on this album, something more edgy, places where the band dared to go on Wire they have gone again and the result is another solid Third Day album, perhaps the year off has done a lot of good and I defiantly recommend this album for pre-order.
