On October 1, 2005 Aaron Gillespie created a myspace page for his band The Almost while on a brief break from his band at the time, Underoath.

Aaron Gillespie on his Myspace page released two of his songs which were the demos for “I Mostly Like to Copy Other People” and “They Say You Can Never Write I Told You So in a Song But Here I Go”. Gillespie wrote all of the songs himself while recording Define the Great Line with Underoath.
These events this week in 2005 led to a chain of events that allowed for the great success of this band and the reach of their music around the world.
