Well I’d like to start off this review by saying that I really truly enjoy this album. I in fact was able to pre-order the album and received it two days before release, which had me even more excited about it. After I listened to a few songs I noticed a few things, Hayley’s voice once again had improved greatly as it always seems to and Zac’s drums continue to impress me. Overall the music is impressive to me.

“Brand New Eyes” is a different side of Paramore to me. I feel that in this album lots of feelings were expressed about a previous rough time in the band where they almost split. Along side singing about almost breaking up, they sing about their continued amazement in regards to their new-found fame.

In comparison to “Riot” and “All We Know Is Falling”, “Brand New Eyes” has a darker sort of feeling where “Riot” seemed to be much more enthusiastic and energetic. There’s honestly not much more I can say about the album other than that I really enjoy listening to it and like the changes that Paramore have displayed on this album.
